New crime fiction novel by Darrin Atkins

Are you worried about laws related to gene profiling and DNA analysis and if they provide enough protection if someone unlawfully uses your genetic information?

University of the Pacific graduate Darrin Atkins has written a new crime fiction novel that addresses these concerns. The novel is set in Stockton, California.

Your Gene Profile Says You're Dead
By Darrin Atkins

After discovering that a powerful crime syndicate has developed a gene profile test that can instantly tell a person's most likely age of death, Hoss Henry tries it out on himself and discovers that his gene profile says he should be dead. He soon finds himself in downtown Stockton, California, desperately trying to get a reporter's help while staying one step away from the killers who want to make sure their gene profile test stays a secret. Hoss Henry must prove that his own gene profile result is not foolproof. In the process, he discovers that in a world with gene profiling, nobody is safe, especially the only person with the prototype of the most accurate gene profile test on the planet.
