Pacific Alumni now Opposing Coaches in Big Stanford-USC Football Game

On Saturday, Nov. 5, two Pacific alumni will face off in one of the biggest college football games this year. Pete Carroll, head football coach of USC, and Walt Harris, head football coach of USC, will face off against each other in the big Stanford-USC game at USC.

Both coaches are alumni of University of the Pacific, and each also either played, coached, or both. Pete Carroll played and coached football as an assistant or coordinator at Pacific from 1971 to 1977, and Walt Harris coached as an assistant or coordinator from 1971 to 1973 and then was head coach at Pacific from 1989 to 1991.
